Online Teaching Practice Phase 1 23-11-2020 to 27-11-2020

  Online Teaching Practice Phase 1                As part of two years B.Ed. curriculum, we had a teaching practice section in the third semester. But due to the COVID-19 pandemic situation, we were unable to do the teaching practice. So in order to solve this, we conducted 10 online teaching sections in schools through online mode. The online teaching section was conducted from 23-11-2020 to 27-11-2020.  I took the class for 8th standard students in MTGHS, Kottarakara. I choose google to meet as a platform. The class time was from 6-7.30 in the morning.              It was a different experience to take classes in an online mode. Even though it was difficult to take a class in online mode, students actively participated in the class. Even after the class, students clarified their doubts through WhatsApp and e-mail.            I conducted the diagnostic test on 25-11-2020 and identified the difficult areas.   Innovative Work During the online teaching practice section, in order to convey the method of solving algebraic expression I used a working model as follows: It was very useful for the students that they understood the method clearly. It was also useful for me that it helped me to convey the method clearly.

Peer Teaching Semester 3 18-11-2020 to 21-11-2020

 PEER TEACHING - SEMESTER 3        As part of two years B.Ed. curriculum, we had a teaching practice section in the third semester.   CIENCIAS 2020- International Science Day Celebration                            World Science Day for Peace and Development is an international day that highlights the important role that science has in society and is celebrated each year on November 10. It also highlights the need to engage the wider public in debates on emerging scientific issues. World Science Day was proclaimed by UNESCO in 2001 and celebrated for the first time in 2002. By linking science more closely with society, World Science Day aims to ensure that citizens are kept informed of developments in science. It also underscores the role scientists play in broadening our understanding of the planet we call home and in making our societies more sustainable.             As part of world science day, in this pandemic situation, we conducted an international science day celebration led by our union ‘Lakshya’. WORKSHOP ON MUSIC MUSIC- EDU 301.3 03-11-2020

  Workshop On Music EDU 301.3 As part of EDU 301.1 Art and Aesthetic Education, we had a workshop on music. The resource person was Dr. Thottam Bhuvanachandran Nair. He is a poet, author, creative speaker and a drama researcher. In 1995, he acquired PhD in literature and theatre art. He wrote many books, one among them is "Rithumozhi". Also he got many awards like special jury award for best lyricist in 2010. The objective of the programme was to convey the musical method of teaching and presenting a topic from high school section in any musical form. In the forenoon section, Bhuvanachandran sir dicussed about various forms of music, rhythm of music and some of experiences. In the afternoon section, we were divided into 11 groups and selected a topic for presenting it in the form of music.  I was in group number 6. My group members were Arya, Jiji, Christy and Pooja. KERALA PIRAVI CELEBRATION 01-11-2020

 KERALA PIRAVI CELEBRATION Kerala day also referred to as  Kerala Piravi , marks the birth of the state of  Kerala  in southern  India . The state of Kerala was created on 1 November 1956, long after the  Independence of India . Our college's Malayalam Department conducted 64th kerala piravi celebration on November 1, 2020. The programme was named as "KAIRALI PYTHRIKAM". The chief guest of this programme was Dr. Suresh Madhav, Assistant Professor, Malayalam Department, NSS College, Pandalam. As part of this programme, there were competitions like pacha malayalam, prashnothari and ganamadhuri. The programme was so good.
