RAINBOW-The Memorable Colours

ONAM The vibrant festival of Onam is one of the most popular and significant harvest festivals of Kerala. It is essentially a ten day festival celebrated with great fervor all over the state between August and September. The festival is essentially celebrated by the people to welcome the homecoming of their dearest legendry King Mahabali into their homes. It is believed that the spirit of the king visits the homes of the people at the time of Onam.                Before the onam vacation,  we celebrated onam in our college.  It was on september 6, 2019. We started the program at sharp 8 'o'  clock.  There were a lot of games we had.  The first were 'Athapookalam" competition.  We did it very well.  Then we had programs like thiruvathira,  onam song,  fusion dance etc.  After all this programs,  we had our delicious 'Onasadhya'.  Then we had game section which included musical chair,  vadamvali,  lemon and spoon race etc.           It was such a memorable

Teachers' day celebration  In India, September 5 is celebrated as    Teachers' Day  to honour teachers for their contributions in shaping the life of students. September 5 is also the birth anniversary of Bharat Ratna recipient Dr    Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan . He was the first Vice President and second President of India post Independence. He was born on September 5, 1888. One of India's most distinguished twentieth-century scholars of comparative religion and philosophy, Dr Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan also worked as Professor at various Indian and international colleges and varsities like Madras Presidency College, University of Mysore, University of Calcutta, University of Oxford and University of Chicago.            As part of the teachers' day celebration,  we conducted a program in our college,  organized by the B. Ed and M. Ed trainees. We started the function at 10 'o'  clock with a prayer song. The function was fulfilled by the presence of eminent guests

Star- prior preparation for art education Prior preparation for art education at home. It was my first attempt. I made a star using paper.  It so easy to prepare such a star. It needs only papers,  scissor and glue. If we use color papers,  it will be more attractive.

WEB BLOG CREATION  We had a blog creation workshop on 3rd september 2019. Along with our teachers,  first year M. ED trainees helped us.   Mr. Vineeth from first year M. Ed gave an introduction.  Other 5 trainees from M.Ed helped us.  It was a nice experience.
