 Onam Celebration

The kerala festival onam was celebrated by our college through online platform Google Meet on 28th August, 2020. It was history in our life that for the first time we celebrated virtual onam. The programme was named as "ONAM ON-LINE". Programme coordinator was Dr. Leena Vahid. It had many competition items like Malayali Manka, Onapattu, Athapokalam etc. The attractive part was "chit chat with mahabali". The programme was very successful.

As part of physical education of our B. Ed.  course,  we had a sports day on 2nd October 2019. Honourable manger of our institution inaugurated the function in presence of our principal roy sir and our physical education instructor george sir.  After the inaugural section,  in the presence of our physical education instructor,  we conducted badminton(singles and doubles both for boys and girls) and chess. It was a nice experience. I participated in badminton doubles along with christy and won the game.

  Online Teaching Practice Phase 2                As part of two years B.Ed. curriculum, we had a teaching practice section in the fourth semester. But due to the COVID-19 pandemic situation, we were unable to do the teaching practice. So in order to solve this, we conducted 10 online teaching sections in schools through online mode. The online teaching section was conducted from 28-01-2021 to 05-02-2021.  I took the class for 8th standard students in MTGHS, Kottarakara. I choose google to meet as a platform. The class time was from 6-7.30 in the morning.              It was a different experience to take classes in an online mode. Even though it was difficult to take a class in online mode, students actively participated in the class.
