LIFE SKILL DEVELOPMENT WORKSHOP

The workshop conducted on March 6, 2020. The resource person was  Dr.Suresh C Kurup, Department of Zoology,M G College, Thiruvanathapuram.The life skill that we practise in this workshops are as follows:
Self-awareness
Empathy
Critical thinking
Creative thinking
Decision making
Problem Solving
Effective communication
Interpersonal relationship
Coping with stress
Coping with emotions

It was a very effective workshop and gave us self-confidence

   Peer Teaching Phase 2       As part of two years B.Ed. curriculum, we had a teaching practice section in the fourth semester. But due to the COVID-19 pandemic situation, we were unable to do the teaching practice. So in order to solve this, we conducted 15 peer teaching sections in our college. The peer teaching section was conducted from 22-02-2021 to 05-03-2021.  For that, we were divided into 10 groups, each having 5 members. My group members were Liji Joseph, Jyothi kunjumon, Annie M Babu, and Ruksana.10 classes were taken in online mode. We choose google to meet as a platform for it. Another 5 classes were taken in offline mode. I took another 3 classes to practice CAM, ITM, and Constructivist model from 0-3-2021 to 08-03-2021.  It was a different experience.

Women's Day Celebration       We celebrated women's day in our college. The programme was entitled "Phoenix". The function was inaugurated by Srimathi. Aisha Potti, MLA. After the inaugural section, B.Ed. trainees conducted many cultural programmes.It was a memorable day in the B.Ed. life.

Comunity Living Camp 15/02/2021 - 19/02/2021

Community Living Camp       As part of two years B.Ed. curriculum We conducted a community living camp as an extension service to the community. It was conducted from 16th to 19th February 2021 at our college campus. The camp entitled "Explore 2021". The whole camp was based on the theme "Explore the Endurance" and each session was based on the sub-themes such as explore the exquisite, explore ourselves, explore dexterity, explore the mind and explore nature.       The camp was inaugurated by Sri. A. Shaju, the municipal chairman. A total of 50 students were divided into 3 groups and conducted the group activities such as stage decoration, cleaning, food service in each day.       Eminent personalities like Dr. Shaji (Assistant professor in Computer Science, SAS College, Konni), Sri.
